A house clearance in Quebec does not need to be stressful. We are a friendly team from the 5 Star House Clearance group, covering North East England with a fleet of vans. You tell us what needs to go, we give you a clear, free quote, and on the day we arrive at 9am and get on with it. You will always know what is happening and when.
House clearance in Quebec: the homes we clear
Durham City and its surrounding villages include historic streets, student houses, flats and family homes, and a clearance in Quebec can mean anything from a small rented room to a full family house. We plan the access, the carrying route and the van position in advance so the job runs smoothly and considerately for neighbours. We would rather ask a question in advance than leave anything to chance on the day.
Local tip: If you are clearing a Quebec home for probate, we can set aside paperwork and keepsakes for the family as we go.
What we can clear in Quebec
Every job is different, so we tailor the clearance to you. In and around Quebec we regularly handle:
- Full and part house clearances
- Bereavement clearances
- Probate clearances for executors
- Furniture removal
- Rubbish and junk removal
- Garage clearances
- Loft and attic clearances
On the day
On the morning of your Quebec clearance we aim to arrive at 9am. We will walk through the property with you if you are there, confirm what is going and what is staying, and then start loading. A regular three-bedroom house usually takes about three to four hours, with larger or fuller homes taking longer.
Where your things go
Not everything in a house can be reused, so we separate items on the day. Metals go for recycling, electrical and bulky items go to the right facilities, and general waste is taken to licensed sites. When you clear a house in Quebec with us, the aim is to keep as much as possible out of landfill. Read more about how we recycle and donate.
How much does a house clearance in Quebec cost?
We keep things simple. A quote for your Quebec clearance covers our team's wages, fuel and the cost of taking items to recycling centres. If everything does not fit in one van, a second load costs 50% of the fee. Message us with photos for a free, no-obligation quote. See how our prices work.
